In the spring of 2005, 1"=1666' scale black and white aerial photography was acquired for the northern half of Outagamie County and 1"=833' scale black and white aerial photography for the southern half of the county. This project was part of the 2005 Wisconsin Regional Mapping Initiative.
The digital orthophoto image that is part of the northern digital orthophotography dataset was prepared from the 1"=1666' scale aerial photography and was rectified to the County's DTM, which was prepared through stereo compilation in 2000 as a component of a digital orthophotography and 4-foot contour mapping project.
